So I went to L.A. to visit my grandparents and the whole time I felt like I was twitching from lack of internet and lack of Jdramas. Ha ha, well it wasn't that bad, but there was no internet and I was missing my D no Arashi and Yamato Nadeshiko. Also my Japanese step-grandma was talking about the stuff she hated about Japan now and I seriously felt like slowly leaving the room because she was complaining about the Japanese bands that jump around *cough cough* (a.k.a. all of Johnny's Entertainment) and she didn't like the new Japanese dramas, etc. The whole time she was complaining I was just nodding, going with what she said until finally my baka Papi said, "oh really? Kirsten here spends the whole day just watching Japanese dramas and watching boy bands." Then my grandma gave me on a lecture that I shouldn't be interested in Japanese boys because they are awful, blah blah blah, lecture lecture lecture. Anyway, it was fun but interesting.
Well, no one really cares about my personal life so onto Japanese dramas!
I'm pretty much in LOVE with Yamato Nadeshiko. Kame and Tesshi are just too cute! A must watch for any fangirls! It just feeds their cuteness to you. Uchi isn't too bad either and I'm starting to like this ballet-dancer guy. He is pretty good for a guy who has never acted for a drama before, but I guess he has an over-dramatic character that would be hard to mess up.
Sadly, I still haven't gotten to watch much of Code Blue 2. I need to get around to that now that I have internet...but what I've heard is that it has been good so far and touching.
Before I left for L.A. I downloaded Saigo no Yakusoku RAW and I got bored in the car so I wanted to check it out. It was seriously so good I ended up watching the whole thing even though I only understood a little bit more than 1/3 of it. Although I guess because it is a semi-action movie it was pretty easy to understand, but I want to watch it with subs so I can understand the end. Didn't quite understand enough Japanese to get it, but it was surprising from what I understood! Even if you aren't an Arashi fan, I heard from some non-Arashi fans that they enjoyed this SP as well because it is simply a good story besides it being for fangirls. Unfortunately there was no nakedness like shown on the poster...I feel so cheated. ha ha, just kidding *a little bit...*
Lastly, Tegomass Concert subs are out with newshfan. She is a lovely person isn't she? Right now that it downloading on my computer. I was really mad to check her site right before I left to find Tegomass's Concert uploaded on there. I was hoping I would be able to download it at my grandparents' house but noooo, my grandpa forgot his security code so I couldn't log on to his wireless...grrr...Anyway, I'll give a report on that when I finish watching it ^^. But just based off this video, looks pretty good to me :D
(seriously could not stop laughing at this! I had to watch it over and over)
Here is a little bonus of a variety show Tegoshi was on:
Anyone who has seen Mononoke Hime should enjoy this.

For Arashi Fans!!!
Hey, just found this and thought I would share the love. Somebody is doing a project of sending in a map to Arashi that has stickers on where each foreign fan lives that joins the project. Dunno if it will work (as most projects end up being a flop), but its worth a try and its easy do!
Go here: http://pamujung.livejournal.com/45613.html
All the instructions are there. Basically you email the person with your name and where you live and they'll add a sticker to the map. Deadline is January 31, 2010 because they want to send it in for Valentine's Day.
Now I'm going to return watching Arashi's Iza Now Tour :D

another drama of 2010
So I stupidly forgot to mention this drama and I was pretty excited for it too! ah...this is a failure on my part...once again.
Tokujo Kabachi!!
Begins: January 17th

Here are two CMs to make up for my forgetfulness
Looks like a entertaining drama to me ^^. I'm excited to watch some more comedy because a lot of dramas I have been waiting for in the past year have been kind of serious.
Of course my favorite part of these CMs is listening to the music in the background over and over again. He he, love new Arashi music. This one is called "Troublemaker".
Speaking of new songs, KAT-TUN has a new release too...after how long? Well anyway, it releases on February 10th and is called "Love yourself - Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki". Sorry if you wanted the limited editions because they are already sold out. I guess that is to be expected for a highly anticipated single and starved fangirls.
Although you might want to keep your eye out if you desperately want a limited edition because at least at HMV when I went to order "Loveless" limited B edition they had restocked after a week or two of it being sold out. Of course your order comes a little bit later than those who ordered first, but if it means you get the goods and are supporting our boys, I think its worth it ^^.
PS. Only 7 more days until the Tegomass Concert DVD!

vote!
okay, quick entry before I go to bed.
Please vote for your favorite group http://vote3.ziyu.net/html/milky87.html and/or you favorite JE boy http://vote3.ziyu.net/html/milky90.html
The voting is actually interesting for once. Every couple of hours NEWS and KAT-TUN will switch spots. The whole favorite JE boy vote has such a big gap its ridiculous. I'm actually surprised Taguchi is 1st and by a land slide. I mean, he is a good dancer (approved by my roommate that is a dancer and is not familiar with JE) and he is really funny, but to be beating people like Yamapi, Jin, Kame, Ryo or Arashi members kind of surprises me...anyway, looks like Yamapi is the only one that has a slight chance against him, but vote for whomever you like ^^

Code Blue season 2, Hyoten SP
Has everyone seen it yet? It released yesterday! Subs should be out in 2-3 days or so. I'm waiting for those right now.
I'm SUPER excited for this upcoming week. All the dramas and concerts (meaning Tegomass's ;P) are finally making their release. The best part is that I'm staying at my brother's house where I don't have my parents constantly looking over my shoulder saying, "You should stop watching Japanese shows! Do some work! blah blah blah." I bet a lot of you get that as well >.<
Anyway, onto what I have been recently doing...I've been watching Tesshi videos recently and rewatching "Voice". I finally go to watch Hyoten SP that Tegoshi was in and it was pretty much depressing, but a really good story. It had a bittersweet ending, but basically I spent the whole drama worrying about Tegoshi's charcter instead of worrying about the character you are suppose to care about, Youko. Really I could have cared less for her. Its not her fault (I actually do like that actress and the dramas she has been in) but she was simply out shadowed but one of my most favorite idols of all. Who can resist Tesshi's devilish, but cute character. I can't wait until "Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (The Wallflower)" where he plays a super adorable character! I was watching an interview with my friend and when he hugged his little bear both of us freaked out by how adorable it was!
Since I was bored enough last night I actually watched an episode of ItteQ. I actually really love that show when Tesshi and Miyagawa (the comedian)have their rivalry. So I watched the episode with the giant swings and the water buffalo competition. Pretty much it was HILARIOUS! (you can get this episode from Newhfan...as usual). I loved how Tesshi always came in and destroyed Miyagawa's image and pissed Miyagawa off. Although the very end was funny to see a frustrated Tesshi. It was really cute ^^.
So I think that's all for now. I'm going back to watch some more Voice. Ah, EitaxToma love (^.^)

Ryo's heavenly voice ^^
So one of my friends posted this on facebook and I couldn't help but reposting it here. Ryo just does a fantastic job here ^^. His voice doesn't sound as harsh as it usually does. (ha ha, anybody remember when the little girl asks Ryo why his voice is the way it is?)
Anyway, that's all for now. Enjoy!

Cat in Boots Butai

So I didn't know anyone actually had this subbed but apparently they did! (found it on the JE-Index of subs). Ikuta Toma was absolutely adorable! So much so that I had only meant to watch a few minutes of this stage show before going to bed, but ending up watching the whole thing until 4 a.m. The girl who played the cat didn't have the best singing voice and her speaking voice in general annoyed me, but even Toma made her sound good when they did duets.
I seem to have found myself in a Toma craze right now. When I saw him in Johnny's Countdown I was really excited to see him again. With all his movies he is in, I haven't seen him in awhile. I hate movies for numerous reasons. One, they take too long...I mean HOW long ago did they finish filming for "Bandage"? Like in November 2008 but its only coming out NOW!? Same for "Dareka ga Watashi ni Kiss wo Shita". I mean really, Tesshi still had straight hair and he hasn't had that in awhile. Its been a giant poof for at least a year now. Anyway, second reason; even when the movie IS finally released there is no way for me to view it for at least another 6 months because I have to wait for the DVD since I don't live in Japan. Ugh...memories of waiting for Yatterman have suddenly flooded back *shudder*
Hm...how did this turn into a JMovie rant? ha ha, oh well. I guess I at least need to say the good thing about movies. First of all, uh 2-3 hours straight of a Johnny Boy? I think yes! (of course its more if you are like me and like watching dramas as a marathon).
Getting back to Toma, this little seed inside of me still really wants to see him debut...actually I guess its a big seed, but I like how he has turned his circumstance around by becoming a great actor. I actually heard he is starring in 3 movies this year! That boy is busy! Wouldn't want to throw him into a band so he becomes another Yamapi! (Pi, you work to hard! You worry us!) I think it would be really cool if Johnny would through all the over-aged Johnny's Jrs into one band. Like Toma, Uchi, Kusano, etc. (although not going to lie, I don't really like Kusano all that much...Uchi has defiantly grown on me. Still can't get over the NEWS thing, but Uchi is at least intelligent to some degree...sorry for you Kusano fans out there >.<)
To finish up I just want to say all the pictures and fancams I've seen of Toma and Pi's concerts are adorable! Have you guys all seen the one where Toma gives Pi a hug and lifts his foot? Its so cute! I love TomaPi!! Unfortunately it was due to this TomaPi love that at the very beginning of my fangirl days I hated NEWS. I refused to even listen to them, but then one day their PV to "Happy Birthday" was in my recommended videos on crunchyroll (before crunchyroll become a money-maker typhoon and dropped all its good jdramas and jpop) and the rest was history...fell in love with them instantly and that was when I realized JE was more of family ^^.
The cute lil hug O(^0^)O

Saigo no Yakusoku

So its 2010 and I can already tell its going to be a great year just by this picture...
I should have know about Saigo no Yakusoku, especially because it is starring ALL of Arashi (haven't seen this in awhile) but I do have to admit I was a little distracted by some other dramas that are being released (a.k.a. all the ones posted below).
Anyway, when I was watching Johnny's Countdown (which Newhfan has now subbed!), this was in the commercials and I kind of had a flip out moment that this movie is releasing next Saturday and I didn't know about it! I admit my failure as an Arashi fangirl (-.-) sadness...
Still, I'm excited for its release!

Just for entertainment purposes:
I love how many girls (of all ages, I think I caught a couple middle-aged women as well) are taking pictures while most of the guys (minus the fanboys or guys sending pictures to their fangirl girlfriends) are looking embarrassed just to walk through the train station.
